The Eli‑Cote FR/1008/D has been designed for the protection of surfaces subjected to high wear, particularly on areas where solids or slurries cause severe abrasion. The mortar provides a long lasting lining to metal and concrete surfaces. The soft thixotropic texture of the mortar allows for easy mixing and makes the product suitable for horizontal, as well as vertical applications. Typical applications include wear resistant lining for chutes, pump casings, slurry pumps, impellers, fans, pipe elbows, hoppers, vibrating feeders, etc.
